Romney's complaint

Gov. Mitt Romney is claiming that he lost the presidential election because President Barack Obama gave what Romney describes as "gifts" to various minorities and young people ("Romney attributes Obama win to 'gifts,'" Tribune, Nov. 16).

No candidate is happy about losing an election, but Romney needs to show some maturity. Instead of whining about his defeat, he should just accept what has happened and get on with his life. For him, that would involve, to some extent, making as much money as possible and sheltering as much of it as he can in offshore accounts.
