Gorgoza Tubing Park in Summit County will be open for the Thanksgiving weekend and then will begin daily operations Dec. 1.

The facility between Summit Park and Jeremy Ranch opened Wednesday and will run from noon to 8 p.m. through Sunday.

Gorgoza features seven lift-served and lighted tubing lanes. After Dec. 1, it also will have a winter play area for younger guests, a mini-snowmobile course for 5- to 12-year-olds and a learn-to-ski-or-snowboard program (with rental equipment) for children 8 and under, said Andy Miller, spokesman for Powdr Corp, which owns Gorgoza as well as Park City Mountain Resort.
