The Utah Valley Symphony Guild is sponsoring a four-house home tour featuring "The Monticello," patterned after Thomas Jefferson's home. Other homes offer spectacular art and murals and holiday decorations. Proceeds benefit the Utah Valley Symphony.

"Bring Your Gifts" is a Christmas devotional featuring dance and live music. Proceeds will be donated to the women's shelter at the Salt Lake City YWCA.

The Holiday Art Boutique will feature hand-made pieces by local artists, such as pottery, jewelry, photography and locations. A portion of each sale will be donated to Swaner Eco Center.

Those attending Pioneer Theatre Company's presentation of "A Christmas Carol: The Musical" can bring nonperishable food items for the Utah Food Bank. Drop boxes will be in the lobby.

Take new or gently used coats, hats, scarves, gloves and blankets to Bank of Utah branches for the "Warm Bodies, Warm Souls" coat drive. The cold weather gear will be distributed to homeless and low income families.

The Murray Symphony and the Mapleton Chorale will celebrate the season with a holiday concert. The program will include selections from "The Messiah," John Williams' "Home Alone" Christmas Suite, Vaughan-Williams' "Fantasia on Greensleeves" and other music to celebrate the holidays. A food donation for the Food Bank is requested.
