The Tribune has learned Chasen Andersen, a senior linebacker out of Logan High School and son of Utah State football coach Gary Andersen, has committed to his father to play for the Aggies.

Andersen, who also had an offer to BYU, missed his senior year after a season-ending injury in his first football game. During his junior year, Andersen was the leading tackler in Class 4A as the Grizzlies made an undefeated run for a state title.

He'll be playing with his brother, sophomore tight end Keegan Andersen.
