In "Thanks to Romney" (Forum, Nov. 23), Kathy DeWitt wrote: "I am disappointed with the Republicans who are jumping ship and throwing the messenger under the bus. The Republican Party needs to stand behind its principles and stand tough."
This fall, the Republicans did stand behind their principles. That's why they lost.
