Merely gay marriage?

As soon as today, the U.S. Supreme Court justices may decide if the court will hear a case and then rule on whether gays and lesbians have a constitutional right to marry ("Supreme Court to consider right of gays to marry," Tribune, Nov. 25).
If they eventually rule that gays and lesbians have a constitutional right to marry, would siblings or first cousins also finally have an unrestricted constitutional right to marry? Would older, single-adult parents have an unrestricted constitutional right to marry one of their adult offspring?
Is the goal really equality for all?
