Kim Kardashian knocks off Justin Bieber on Bing's most-searched-for celebrity list

Just announced: 2012's most-searched person on Bing was Kim Kardashian, who took back the title after being knocked off by Justin Bieber last year.

Bieber, however, still reigned as the most-searched musician, with the late Whitney Houston following a close second.

Other top-searched musicians include: Katy Perry (3), Selena Gomez (4), Rihanna (5), Nicki Minaj (6), Taylor Swift (7), Beyonce (8) and Jennifer Lopez (10). This year's list of the top 10 most-searched people include: Kim Kardashian (1), Justin Bieber (2), Miley Cyrus (3), Rihanna (4), Lindsay Lohan (5), Katy Perry (6), Selena Gomez (7), Jennifer Aniston (8), Nicki Minaj (9), Taylor Swift (10).

Compared to last year's search results, Rihanna, Selena, Nicki and Taylor are all newcomers, while Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Megan Fox, and Lady Gaga were bumped from the top 10 list.

President Barack Obama came in as the 46th most search person for the year, while Mitt Romney came in just ahead at 43rd. Other top 2012 searches on Bing include: Peyton Manning as the most-searched athlete; "American Idol" as most-searched TV show; "The Avengers" as most-searched movie; Serena Williams as most-searched Olympic athlete; Michael Kors as the most-searched fashion designer; Ellen DeGeneres as the most-searched daytime talk show; Psy's "Gangnam Style" as the most-searched song (over "Call Me Maybe"); and the birth of Beyonce and Jay-Z's baby Blue Ivy as the most-searched celebrity event.
