A Tooele man was hospitalized with a stab wound, and his wife was arrested late Saturday after an apparent domestic dispute turned violent, police said.
The 52-year-old husband was allegedly stabbed in the chest with a kitchen knife, said Tooele police Lt. Paul Wimmer. He was taken to a local hospital by ambulance and then transferred by helicopter to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.
On Sunday, Wimmer said the man's injuries were not life-threatening, and he is expected to make a full recovery.
The man's 41-year-old wife was arrested and booked into the Tooele County Jail on suspicion of attempted homicide, Wimmer said.
Police responded to the home at 49 W. 1930 North following a 911 call about 7:40 p.m., Wimmer said. The couple were having a "very general argument about their relationship."
Wimmer said he didn't know whether police had previously responded to domestic problems at the home.
