The Secret Book of Frida Kahlo

After Frida Kahlo nearly died in a traffic accident, she received a notebook from her friend Tina Modotti. Kahlo called the notebook The Hierba Santa Book (The Sacred Herbs Book) and filled it with memories, ideas and recipes. Take a trip with river raft guide

Jo Deurbrouck, the author of Anything Worth Doing, will appear at Barnes & Noble/Layton Market Center. The book tells the story of two raft guides who believe that "anything worth doing is worth overdoing" and spend 10 years trying to prove it on the West's great wilderness rivers, in particular Idaho's Salmon.
