As a part of its memorial for its fallen former head coach, the Utah team will wear red patches with the initials of Rick Majerus for the remainder of the season.

Most of the players on the team were toddlers when Majerus was at his peak on the hill. But his legacy has lived through many connected with the program, including head coach Larry Krystkowiak, who played for the Milwaukee Bucks and had a close personal relationship with Majerus.

"I've honestly just learned so much for him," Krystkowiak said. "He's a great coach and an even better person. I recently had a dream that I spent an afternoon with him. He's one of the best ever."

On Tuesday, Krystkowiak wrote an update on twitter. Clearly, the Utes are still in mourning, but Krystkowiak said they would use his memory as motivation.

Very solid week of practice," Krystkowiak wrote on his twitter page. "Coach M's passing is on our minds and he is a great inspiration for us all. Fundamentals and Family! RIP"
