Adobe Systems Inc. celebrated the opening of its $107 million building at Lehi Friday.
Utah political figures attended the event, along with Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen and John Warnock and Chuck Geschke, the co-founders and co-chairmen of the company they founded in 1982.
Warnock is a Utah native. He graduated with a doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Utah in 1969.
Today, California-based Adobe is one of the largest software companies in the world, with about 10,000 employees. It reported $4.2 billion in revenue in its fiscal 2011.
Adobe bought Utah-based Omniture Inc. 2009 and has since expanded its workforce and built the new 280,000-square-foot building along Interstate 15 across from Thanksgiving Point in northern Utah County.
The company has space for two other structures on the 38-acre site, but construction depends on its continued growth.
