McKade Brady still has a jaw that's wired shut.

Gary Andersen has no clue how the senior safety breathes when he's on the practice field.

But Brady is on track to play - and start - for the Aggies on Saturday against Toledo.

"He should be considered good to go," Andersen said.

Brady has missed time due to a broken jaw suffered against Louisiana Tech. While Utah State had little trouble with Idaho the following week, Brady's presence, his tackling and his all-around leadership will be needed against Toledo.

"He's our defensive captain," Andersen said. "He's one of the guys who has gotten us to this point. He will be sorely missed if he couldn't go on Saturday."

Brady has maintained his weight the last three weeks, despite not eating solid food. That, combined with his ability to run and make plays in practice, has increased the his ability to play.
