Respect for seniors

Greater respect should be given to the older population, especially from teenagers and young adults. I am a young adult who works part-time as a certified nurse's assistant with an older population. So it saddens me to hear rude comments from youths about older people.

What would we be without the older generation? They have worked hard, done their best, and helped our world thrive and become interconnected. They grew up during the Great Depression and World War II.

Things are different for us now, but we cannot forget the sacrifices and progress they have made.
