The Utah women's basketball team used a strong second-half performance to blow out Houston Baptist University 71-33 Saturday at the Huntsman Center.
After taking three days off from practice during finals week, the Utes looked rusty early and their shooting struggles seemed to carry over from last week's loss to BYU.
But Utah came out of the locker room and dominated the undersized Huskies, scoring 43 points while holding Houston Baptist to just 18. With the win, the Utes improve to 8-1 on the season. Houston Baptist falls to 2-9.
