We may not be able to prohibit people from owning guns, but we should be able to limit the damage they can generate.
When I was a duck hunter, the law required that I have a plug in the eight-shell magazine of my pump shotgun to limit the capacity to three shells.
Likewise, at the very least, legislation should be passed that limits the capacity of pistols.
It is a baby step, but we need to begin somewhere.
