Portraits of Childhood — Behold Your Little Ones

The LDS Church History Museum invites you to "behold" the children in the paintings of a new exhibit: children working, playing and learning about the world around them.

When • Today, Dec. 23, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Monday through Friday, Dec. 24-28, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, Dec. 29-30, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; and Monday, Dec. 31, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

Abstract art exhibition in Park City

Ursula Farrell's abstract, figurative paintings are reminiscent of the Bay Area Figurative movement of the 1950s and '60s.

The West in paintings and serigraphs

Gallery MAR will present a new exhibition by Mary Scrimgeour and Maura Allen, inspired by their travels and own distinct visions of The West. Scrimgeour presents her vision in sketchlike oil and mixed-media paintings while Allen's vision comes in the form of serigraphs.

When • Friday and Saturday, Dec. 28-29, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, Dec. 30, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.; Monday, Dec. 31, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
