Dynatronics okays
reverse stock split
Shareholders of Dynatronics Corp. approved a one-for-five reverse split of the company's stock. The company, which makes medical devices used in sports medicine and by physical therapists, said 93 percent of the votes favored the split, which will help it deal with a share price below the $1 minimum Nasdaq requires companies to maintain a listing on the exchange.

Skullcandy Inc., the Utah company known for its stylish headphones and ear buds, has launched a sponsorship program supporting boys and girls high school basketball teams. It has sponsorships in place with schools in Mouth of Wilson, Va., and Chicago, and will select several other schools in the coming weeks.
U. of U. profs
are honored
Four University of Utah faculty members, including President David W. Pershing, have been elected charter fellows of the National Academy of Inventors. In addition to Pershing, who also is a professor of chemical engineering, the other fellows are Stephen C. Jacobsen, professor of mechanical engineering; Thomas N. Parks, professor of neurobiology and anatomy; and Sung Wan Kim, professor of pharmaceutical chemistry.
Headwaters prices
its public offering
Headwaters Inc., a Utah building products company, launched a public offering of 10 million shares at a price of $7.25 per share. It expects to use the proceeds to acquire the assets of Kleer Lumber Inc., a manufacturer of trim boards and moulding products. Headwaters expects the offering to be completed Monday.

Buffalo Wild Wings has opened its newest Utah restaurant at 2927 S. 5600 West in West Valley City. The restaurant features wall-to-wall high-definition TVs. Its menu includes boneless wings, specialty burgers, ribs and other foods. Hours are 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to midnight on Sunday.
Jiffy Lube gives
to Make-a-Wish
Twelve Jiffy Lube locations have donated $12,000 to Make-a-Wish Utah. The stores produced and distributed free coupon books benefiting Make-a-Wish Utah. They also donated $1 from every redeemed coupon. Through a national Make-a-Wish program, the Jiffy Lube donation amount will be doubled.
Monnit Corp.
gets award
Monnit Corp., which produces 35 different types of wireless sensors, was awarded the 2012 Greatest Potential Entrepreneur Excellence Award by the NorthFront Entrepreneur Alliance. The alliance, which has 1,200 members, was created in 2008 to bring entrepreneurs in northern Utah together to learn, network, share ideas, find needed resources and to recognize one another's achievements.
