To no one's surprise, James Lark will start at quarterback tonight when the Cougars meet San Diego State at Qualcomm Stadium in the eighth annual Poinsettia Bowl. BYU officials confirmed some two hours before the game that Lark would start, but said Riley Nelson is healthy enough to see some action. The Cougars will be decked out in all-white jerseys tonight, while the Aztecs will wear all-black outfits. BYU players' helmets will include decals to honor the victims of last week's shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticutt. The decals include a blue balloon for the boys, a pink balloon for the girls, and a yellow balloon for the faculty members. BYU special teams and secondary coach Nick Howell went to Ben Lomond High School in Ogden with both parents of one of the victims, 6-year-old Emilie Parker. A crowd of more than 40,000 is expected to attend tonight's game. Temperatures are in the low 60s, and no rain is expected.
