Talk about rocking around the Christmas tree.

Fans of Salt Lake City radio station KOSY 106.5 FM may have been surprised this weekend when they heard Jimi Hendrix and AC/DC where they had previously heard nonstop Christmas carols since Nov. 2 (and "lite" hits the rest of the year).

As of Friday morning, the Clear Channel-owned station is going by Rock 106.5, "Utah's New Classic Rock." The station's website touts a line-up of nationally syndicated hosts including Jim Kerr, Maria Milito, Ken Dashow and Ron "Big Rig" Michaels.
