Utah boy killed in sledding accident is identified

The 6-year-old boy who died Saturday in a sledding accident has been identified as Drake Gideon Cox.
Rasmussen Mortuary published an obituary for Drake on its website Monday. Sanpete County Sheriff's deputies said the Fountain Green boy was sledding in Fairview Canyon with family when he struck a tree and suffered a head injury. His family rushed to his aid and took him to Sanpete Valley hospital where he died.
The incident was initially described Saturday as a sleigh-riding accident, but authorities clarified Sunday that the boy was on a sled.
