I am a high school student who is in the Jordan Applied Technology Center's pharmacy technician program, which prepares senior students to work in a pharmacy under the direction of a pharmacist. I am very happy with my decision to take this class. There should be more educational opportunities like this that prepare young adults for their future.
All of the JATC programs are specifically designed to train a student for a job. After completing the program I will be licensed as a pharmacy technician.
This is astonishing I will have a steady job as soon as I graduate. Many JATC students hold temporary jobs while in high school and also after graduation.
If you begin your life out of school with a successful job, you can continue that success throughout adulthood. More job-specific training programs should be created, and students should be encouraged to start their future out right.
