O Christmas tree • Ready to get rid of your Christmas tree? Be sure to remove all lights, decorations, tinsel, stands and anything else that's artificial first. In Draper, through January 18, Christmas trees can be dropped off at either the Public Works Facility (72 E. Sivogah Court – 14525 S.) or at the Longbranch Trailhead at the intersection of Longbranch Drive (1690 E.) and Deer Ridge Road (15090 S.). In Sandy, The city will have large dumpsters placed at the following locations until Friday morning Jan. 11, 2013 for the collection of Christmas Trees only Storm Mountain Park, 11400 S. 1000 East, Bell Canyon Park 11400 S. 1700 East, Flat Iron Mesa Park, 8600 S. 1700 East, Highpoint Park, 7800 S. 1000 East, Crescent Park, 11000 S. 230 East and Buttercup Park, 10075 S. 1550 East. In addition, trees can also be taken to the Parks and Cemetery Shop located at 9120 S. 700 East.
