Since it was founded in 2008, Global Zero has become the most significant international organization advocating for the elimination of all nuclear weapons on planet Earth. Hundreds of current and former political leaders and a half-million ordinary citizens around the world have endorsed Global Zero.

An important step toward ending, or at least reducing, the ever-present danger of a nuclear disaster somewhere on Earth is the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty, which is awaiting ratification by the United States Senate.

All concerned citizens of Utah should encourage Sens. Orrin Hatch and Mike Lee to vote "Yes" when the treaty is presented to the Senate.
