Right here in River City • Gear up now for the Arts Council's July production of "The Music Man." While auditions for this high-energy musical do not begin until May, there are several paid positions — director, assistant director, stage manager, choreographer, assistant choreographer, orchestra director, music director, set designer/builder and costumer — for which people need to apply immediately. Holladay

Family movie night • "Brave," a PG-rated movie about the heroic journey of Merida, a skilled archer and the headstrong daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor, will be shown for free beginning at 6 p.m. Monday at Holladay Library, 2150 E. Murray-Holladay Road. Bring pillows and blankets. No food or drinks are allowed.
