State fisheries biologists are holding an open house meeting on Jan. 16 to discuss the future of fishing at Red Fleet Reservoir in Uintah County. The open house style meeting will run from 4 to 7 p.m. at a conference room in the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources' new northeastern region office at 318 N. Vernal Avenue in Vernal. Fisheries staff are beginning to plan for the future at Red Fleet and are seeking comments from anglers and the public.

Information from studies on the reservoir in 2011 and 2012 will be shared and discussion on the illegal introduction of walleye will be part of the open house.
