A Clearfield woman who embezzled $152,000 from her employer received 36 months probation, including six months home confinement for her crime.
Carrie Lyn Zenger pleaded guilty to one count of embezzlement. She took the funds between January 2007 and October 2008 while working at the Intermountain Credit Union.
Zenger also must repay the money she stole from Intermountain Credit Union, according to a judgement issued by U.S. District Court Judge Robert J. Shelby.
Most of that payment will go to a federal insurance guarantor that covered the loss for the credit union, which merged with America First Credit Union in 2008.
