Police in Uintah County are investigating the suspicious death of a man found inside a mobile home.

In a news release issued late Monday, the Uintah County Sheriff's Office said the man's body was discovered by an officer conducting a welfare check at the Country Village Mobile Home Park in Fort Duchesne. The officer went to the home about 3:40 p.m. Monday.

According to a listing on the web site MobileHomeParkStore.com, the mobile home park has five lots and is on U.S. Highway 40, east of Roosevelt.

The name of the deceased and the cause of death was not immediately released.
