Richfield Oil & Gas Company, a Utah-based oil & gas exploration company, said its shares are now listed on the OTC:OB electronic exchange under the symbol "ROIL."

"After a surprisingly long transition and number qualifying comment period with multiple agencies, Richfield is pleased to finally begin trading on the OTC:QB," Douglas Hewitt Sr., Richfield's president and CEO, said in a statement announcing the company's new stock symbol.

He said Alpine Securities Corp. is acting as the initial market maker for the company's shares but said it is anticipated that several other market makers will become active later this month.

Richfield was formed through the combination of Hewitt Petroleum, Inc. and Freedom Oil & Gas, Inc. in 2011. The company lists producing assets in Kansas with additional land holdings in Utah and Wyoming.
