DVD • Watching Woody Allen's latest European travelogue, "To Rome With Love," is both nostalgic and frustrating. There are moments in the four semi-related stories particularly a neurotic love triangle involving Jesse Eisenberg, Greta Gerwig and Ellen Page that you see Allen's old comic observational skills at their sharpest.
But other plotlines, like Penelope Cruz' turn as a luscious prostitute, come off as underdeveloped sketches form the Allen notebook. The funniest bits, like Roberto Benigni's as an accountant who wakes up one morning as the inexplicable target of the paparazzi, are a bit thin on the ground.
