Jordan High School will add more hardware to its trophy case Wednesday morning.
Representatives from Maxpreps.com and the Utah Army National Guard will present the Army National Guard national ranking trophy to the school during a ceremony at 8 a.m. in the high school gymnasium.
The Jordan football team finished ranked No. 30 in the nation in Maxpreps;' final poll.
The Beetdiggers defeated Syracuse 58-2 in the Class 5A state title game at Rice-Eccles Stadium to complete a 12-1 season.
Maxpreps already honored Jordan quarterback Austin Kafentzis as the national sophomore of the year.
