Kerwynn Williams honored, plus more Utah State links

Some lunchtime reading for Aggies fans:

• Kerwynn Williams was named to CBS Sports' all-Bowl team for his big performance against Toledo in December. He'll be playing in the East-West Shrine Game next weekend.

• The Casino Del Sol All-Star game will be held on Jan. 11 in Tuscon, Ariz. If you want to watch Matt Austin, Kellen Bartlett, Al Lapuaho and Bojay Filimoeatu play in the game, here's the information.

• Check out the merchandise: Travis Reynolds tweeted out a picture of the rings Utah State got for winning the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.

• Collegeinsider.com ranks Utah State basketball as the No. 6 mid-major program so far, right behind St. Mary's and right above BYU.

• The most recent ESPN bracketology has Utah State as a No. 14 seed and WAC champion, which is incidentally where CBS Sports had put the Aggies earlier this week.

• Jarred Shaw was named to College Hoops Daily's list of all-WAC players at midseason. No Preston Medlin so far, but the way he's been playing, that could change.
