Vivint named Mobile Star award winner

Vivint, a Provo company that bills itself as the largest home automation services company in North America, announced it received a Mobile Star award at the 11th Annual Mobile Star Awards.

The program was hosted by the mobile technology news and events site MobileVillage.com.

The 2012 awards showcased hundreds of entrants in dozens of "best of" categories, including smartphones, tablets, notebooks, mobile apps, wireless network gear and mobile enterprise solutions.

Vivint received top honors in the mobile asset tracking and field service category.
