Flu spreaders

Re "Flu surging early in Utah" (Tribune, Dec. 10):

Now that the flu season is an epidemic, we should be angry at the two-thirds of Americans who did not get vaccinated last fall.

Kids get vaccinations for mumps and measles because schools require it. It's time schools, universities and employers start requiring the flu shot.

When so many people don't do their part to keep this annual plague at a minimum, everyone suffers, especially children, the elderly and the most vulnerable.
