University of Utah skiers Miles Havlick and Andy Trow earned Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Skier Assocation honors this week after dominating performances over the weekend.

"I am extremely impressed with how these two have opened the 2013 RMISA campaign," Utah Director of Skiing Kevin Sweeney said. "Having these two guys receive this award so early is a true confidence builder for the entire team. We have put in some excellent training and racing and these results confirm we are right on track."

Havlick, a senior, was named RMISA's Nordic Skier of the Week for winning the 10-kilometer Classical in Steamboat Springs, Colo., on Sunday. He took second place in the 20-kilometer freestyle on Saturday.

The freshman Trow, meanwhile, earned Alpine Skier of the Week honors after winning the giant slalom qualifying in impressive collegiate debut.
