Unified police Monday were looking for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo Bank in Magna.

Police said the white man entered the bank at 8295 W. 3500 South about 12:10 p.m. Monday, and approached the teller with a note stating he had a weapon and wanted money.

The teller complied and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A mid-2000s dark-colored Ford Explorer was spotted leaving the area at the time of the robbery and may have been involved, police said.

No one was injured and the teller did not see a weapon.

The suspect is described as about being 5-foot-10 tall and weighing about 175 pounds. Police said he had a thin build and light brown facial hair. He was wearing sunglasses, a dark hoodie with a full zipper, blue jeans and light-colored tennis shoes.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call police at 801-743-5851.
