You won't see Utah running a fastbreak like UNLV. That's not the Utes. At least, that's not these Utes.
Still, Larry Krystkowiak's team is playing basketball too slow.
The Utes are too often running plays against the shotclock, forcing offense with the threat of a violation, and coming up short as a result.
On Monday in practice, the Utes worked on the pace of their offense. On Wednesday at Washington State, expect a more crisp Utah offense, one that won't be so reluctant to take shots earlier in the clock. What the offense has become is predictable, and that's something that the Utes feel needs fixing.
