Turning the gunship

For our culture of gun violence to change, the solution has to be as multifaceted as the problem. Instead of the incessant finger-pointing about who or what is to blame, I'd love to see us all pitch in with viable solutions in areas where we have personal control.

For gun owners to say, "This is what I can do to change our culture." For parents to say, "This is how I can improve my parenting." For video game makers to say, "We're willing to change this." And so on, with lawmakers, educators and humans.

I don't imagine we'll strike perfection, but if we each do what is within our power, we can turn the ship around.
