Over the past few months I have noticed that the fashion world has adopted one of the most famous religious symbols. The cross is becoming a common presence in clothing and jewelry.
Once a sacred Christian symbol representing the incredible sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for our salvation, the cross is now also a trendy fashion accessory. These causally worn rings, bracelets and necklaces are eye-catching and cute.
As a Christian, I think it is great when the cross is worn as a reminder of God's love, but it bothers me that many people could be wearing a cross who have no faith or any understanding of the religion.
I know that crosses aren't just for Christians, but wearing a rosary just to amplify your outfit seems disrespectful.
