"Crystal Fairy" director and screenwriter Sebastian Silva proved to be a character, especially in his brief comments before his film debuted Thursday night. He said he loved Utah even though they gave him a hard time when he tried to buy alcohol earlier in the day. Sundance director of programming Trevor Groth quickly responded that he would get him some until someone in the audience assured Groth that Silva was able to indulge.
