Gov. Gary Herbert and the Legislature are all about bringing jobs to business-friendly Utah. More jobs means more people.

I'm not against growth. I just wish that before bringing in more business, Herbert would concentrate more on the maintenance and care of those already here.

The people here would like to have our children well educated. We want our public education system improved, even to become the envy of other states.

One reason people live here is for the scenery, fresh air and fresh water. We would like to see our air cleaned up and protected.

We would like this outdoor beauty protected from developers who may not have the public's best interests at heart.

We want ourselves and our children to be kept healthy and given access to health care.

We are taxpayers. We elected you to represent us, not political donors who have their own agendas.

Not everyone agrees on all policies, but at least listen to all sides for input. Then discuss and compromise to come up with the best solutions for all constituents.
