The following products and vehicles were recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Unless otherwise indicated, discontinue use of the products immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a refund. For more information about the products, call the manufacturer or CPSC's toll-free hotline, 800-638-2772. Only some cars or trucks recalled are affected. Contact a dealer for your model to see if it is included in the recall. The dealer will tell you what to do.

Product • Falls Creek Kids infant and toddler denim jeans, sold by Meijer.

Problem • The snap on the front of the garment may come loose and separate from the fabric, posing a choking hazard to young children. For additional information, contact Meijer at 800-927-8699 anytime. Consumers also can visit www.meijer.com and click on "Product Recalls" under the "Help" section.

Vehicles • Subaru Forester 2009-2012, Subaru Legacy 2010-2011, Subaru Outback 2010-2011, and Subaru Tribeca 2006-2012

Problem • A short circuit can develop when either the puddle light on the door bottom or the connector are exposed to an electrolytic moisture source (such as road spray that has road salt in it) and it penetrates the circuit board. Over time, this may generate heat that could melt the plastic, resulting in smoke or fire.

Subaru will notify owners, and dealers will install an additional fused-harness, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in February. Owners may contact Subaru at 1-800-782-2783 for more information. Subaru's recall campaign number is WQE-41. Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236, or go to www.safercar.gov.
