Stephen Lash and Gayle Marie Stewart, both board-certified obstetricians and gynecologists, have joined Copper Canyon Women's Center in West Valley City. The clinic is a member of Physician Group of Utah. Lash has practiced medicine in the Salt Lake Valley for more than 22 years, Stewart for more than 16 years.

Sterling Ascend Insurance Resources, Park City, has named James Eldredge vice president of sales. A Utah native, Eldredge has worked in the insurance industry for nearly a decade.

Bambara, a Kimpton restaurant in downtown Salt Lake City, has named Kirsten Thomas director of catering. She brings an extensive background to Bambara, having previously worked in catering and event management at the Provo Marriott.

Visit Salt Lake has hired Elizabeth Brown as director of partner relations. She has worked in the Utah tourism and lodging industry for more than 20 years. Most recently, she was the director of sales and member services for the Utah Ski & Snowboard Association.

The Salt Lake Office of Coldwell Banker Commercial announced that real estate veteran Ray Rosenthal has joined the firm as vice president of industrial properties. He has more than 34 years of experience and will work from St. George to expand CBC's southern Utah footprint.

Blake Sarlo has been promoted to director of sales and marketing at the Hotel Monaco in downtown Salt Lake City. He joined the staff of the boutique hotel as a sales manager in 2009.

Intermountain Healthcare has named Steven Huebner to serve on its board of trustees. Huebner is a retired partner of the audit, tax, and advisory firm KPMG, and has directed audit and financial services for several health care, higher education and nonprofit organizations.

ARW Engineers, a structural consulting firm in Ogden, has named Steven L. Ericksen, McKay M. Parrish and Joshua L. Blazzard as the company's newest shareholders.

Powdr Corp., a Park City-based mountain resort and sports camp operator, has announced that Krista Parry has been named senior vice president and chief innovation officer of the new Powdr Enterprises, which will focus on events, sponsorships and media opportunities by leveraging the Powdr family of brands. They include Powdr Resorts, Woodward Camps and Outside Television.

The Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce has announced the hiring of John Whittaker as director of events. His experience includes serving as CEO at Utah State Fair Park for four years, working as director of public events at Thanksgiving Point for six years, as well as being involved with the Stadium of Fire for 25 years as production manager and producer.
