Novell's annual Brainshare conference begins Monday, and the Utah County technology company will be pushing its mobile software suites to attendees.

The conference, which is being held in the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, will run through Thursday.

Brainshare will host 166 sessions involving how information technology companies can use social and mobile systems from Novell to help their businesses. Company president and general manager Bob Flynn will deliver the convention keynote at noon on Monday.

Flynn also will honor recipients of the 2012 and 2013 Novell Young Networking Professional Scholarship Program, an initiative co-founded by Novell and the Utah State Office of Education.

Novell is the maker of mobile solutions for IT professionals, including Novell ZENworks Mobile Management, Novell GroupWise 2012 and Novell Filr.

"As an organization we have spent a great deal of time listening to our customers and partners," Flynn said in a statement.  "We look forward to giving attendees a chance to experience Novell's forward-thinking direction and our new approach of streamlining mobility management for the enterprise."
