Re "Boy Scouts' decision on gay members pushed to May" (Tribune, Feb. 7):
Almost 50 years ago, I raised my hand and solemnly swore this oath: "On my honor I will do my best …"
And I did my best. No one questioned my sexual orientation; it was nobody's business. The main issue was my goodness and my decency.
Those good old days!
