A 36-year-old man remained in critical condition Monday, six days after he fell through a warehouse skylight in Salt Lake City.

Intermountain Medical Center spokesman Jason Carlton said Cody Carpentier's condition was unchanged from when he was brought into the Murray hospital following the accident the morning of Feb. 6.

Carpentier reportedly was on the roof of Porter Brown Distribution, at 1971 S. 4490 West, when he fell about 50 feet, said Salt Lake City Fire Department spokesman Jasen Asay.

Carpentier was unconscious but breathing on his own when rushed to IMC.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating the accident but would not further discuss the accident or its cause.
