Swaggering lobbyist

The front-page photographs accompanying "The man behind the Utah gun (lobby)" (Tribune, Feb. 11) say it all. Here is the swaggering, sneering and cocky gun lobbyist, Clark Aposhian, with this bumper sticker, "I am the gun lobby," and a tie with rifles all over it.

In my practice of psychiatry for more than 40 years, I have counseled many bereaved families and victims of lethal gun violence. I ask Aposhian and his crazed buddies one question: Are you protecting the Constitution's Second Amendment, or are you condoning … murder?
