The Utah Legislature is poised to renew the Veterans Reintegration Task Force for a second year.

SB38, sponsored by Sen. Peter Knudson, R-Brigham City, unanimously passed out of the House Political Subdivisions Committee on Monday. The Senate already passed it unanimously.

"This was an exceptional effort on behalf of veterans of our state," Knudson told the House committee. "Our task is not done."

The task force was created last legislative session, and this bill expands it from 15 to 21 members.
