Cartoonists Pat Bagley (Feb. 10) and Steve Sack (Feb. 11) each had good cartoons in The Tribune about President Barack Obama and the "secret" use of drones.
When President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney were approving torture and waterboarding, they essentially said: Why all the fuss? We will do whatever it takes to keep the United States safe.
If this reasoning was good enough for the Republicans then, why now all their wailing over our current president wanting to similarly keep us safe?
