Roadwork ahead • An introductory meeting about a sewer line repair project along 2700 South/Gordon Avenue between 2000 West in Syracuse and Main Street in Layton is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at Bluff Ridge Elementary School, 2680 S. 775 West. Detours and the construction process will be discussed.

Help with the job hunt • Davis County residents are invited to take free job skills classes from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays from Feb. 26 through March 26 at the Davis Community Learning Center, 210 E. Center St. The classes are an introduction to Davis Applied Technology College courses, job searching, building a resume, interviewing skills and a wrap-up.
