• Metal band The Devil Wears Prada performs at In the Venue, 219 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City. Opening act: The Color Morale. Show starts at 6:30. Tickets are $13, at Smith's Tix.

• Avant-garde folk/pop musician Kishi Bashi will perform at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Opening act: Plume Giant (in an acoustic set). Show starts at 7. Tickets are $12, at 24Tix.
